Building Inspections

Purpose

To safeguard the public health, safety and general welfare and safety to life and property from fire and other hazards attributed to the building environment and to safeguard from hazards arising from the use of electricity and to provide safety to fire fighters and emergency responders during emergency operations.

Fee Schedule

Effective July 1, 2018 - All credit/debit card payments for permits/zoning/inspections/facility rentals will incur a 3% service fee.

Inspections Requests

Please call 910-259-9934 for inspections requests. Requests called in prior to 4 pm will be scheduled for the following business day. Requests received after 4 pm will be scheduled for the day after the next business day. Please refer to the permit number when calling in inspections requests.
